Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap, 2018

Liberate Your Art Postcard Swap 2018It’s time for the postcard swap again! I haven’t done it for a couple years and missed it. This is always fun.

Kat Sloma, over at Kat Eye View, is hosting the swap just like she does every year.

The idea is this: we print up postcards with our art on them, write a little note on the back, and send them to Kat. Then, she shuffles them up and sends other artists postcards back to us. So every few days, I go to the mailbox and find a postcard from another artist. All of the cards this year came from artists I hadn’t met yet, either in person on online, but each one is unique and beautiful.

I received cards from:

I’m grateful to them for all the time and care they put into their postcards. Each one is truly special. Click the images below to see larger versions of the cards.

Notes From the Road

Hi Karen, It is so nice to see more cards from the swap. I think this is the first that I have seen some of the cards you received – wow they are great. And, your card with the map and the tree is super.. LYA is such a great way to ‘met’ other artists!

This swap is so much fun, isn’t it! I’m always amazed by the creativity of the artists involved. The variety in subjects, media, colors, is so inspiring. Thanks for stopping by. Val!

Lovely cards given and received! I love your tree card with the roots! And congrats for getting your art up and exhibited in that coffee shop. If I was anywhere near you, I would stop to see it, and get a pumpkin spice latte!

Wonderful cards you received! And I am SO HAPPY I received your card this year Karen. I love it 🙂 I really hope you will join LYA again next year, and continue to get your art in to the world in other ways. Happy creating to you 🙂
