The Art Hop on July 8th presents “Living Art”, an interactive event where real people become famous works of art.
Throughout town, you will see living statues and masterpieces come to life. Don a costume to become the Mona Lisa or take your photo at the fashion photo booth. Artists will be doing quick sketches, showing off wearable art, and setting up super cool lighting.
At my studio at Uncommon Art (178 1/2 N. Main Street), we’ll turn you into Whistler’s Mother while you pose for a photo. You’ll also be able to brush up your drawing skills by sketching The Girl With A Pearl Earring.
Elsewhere, there will be lots of opportunities to become the art and have your photo taken.
Feel free to come as you are, or come dressed as your favorite artist or artwork.
To top off the fun, stop by the Oddmall Backyard Bash at Hudson Park Center, 5245 Darrow Road.
