HUDSONmART is back for the 5th year! I am an organizer of this event – not a participant – and I think this year’s festival is the best one yet!
It’s held on the greens in downtown Hudson on one-day only — Sunday, July 27 — from 10am-5pm.
With 70+ artists, makers, crafters, and growers plus food, music, and a Sheep to Shawl demo, this is a unique festival.
This year we are spotlighting “Art in Action” so many artists will be demonstrating their skills in their booths.
The “Sheep to Shawl” event starts right at 10am, where a fluffy sheep will be sheared, then wool will be carded, spun, and woven. By 5 pm there will be a finished shawl!
Local musicians will perform throughout the day on 2 stages: at the Gazebo and on the porch of Hudson Community Foundation.
Food vendors will have selections of tacos, ice cream, cake pops, baked treats, coffee drinks, and Mediterranean specialties, plus you can purchase food and DORA beverages from the downtown restaurants.
