A home is such a special place, full of memories! Cherish those family memories with an original painting of your house: such a thoughtful gift for a first-time homeowners, parents, as a moving gift, or going away gift.
My style is loose, expressive, full of charm and character. I will capture the uniqueness of your home. My paintings are not photorealistic! (See examples below.)
Paintings are 8×10 inches, and is presented in a white mat that will fit a standard 11×14 inch frame. This size mades a great gift – it’s easy to ship and easy for the recipient to include in their decor.
Everything is done by hand. I first sketch the home in pencil, draw it in ink, and then add washes of watercolor to make it bright and fresh. I use high-quality professional materials: cold pressed 140lb paper, and watercolor paints by Daniel Smith, Winsor & Newton, and Schmincke.
If you home is very large or has lots of ornate features, please message me so can discuss the right size and price.
** Please provide a photo of the front of the house that is clear and in-focus. If you have 2-3 other photos, that helps me understand how the home looks.
