You’re more than welcome to join my Wandering Sketchers group as we visit different locations between Akron and Hudson to sketch on location.
We meet Friday mornings at 9AM and sketch till about 11AM, but feel free to come and go as you need to.
Anyone is welcome, regardless of sketching experience. There’s no fee.
We sketch outdoors as long as the weather permits, so bring your sketchbook, drawing materials, a small folding chair, drinking water, and hat or sunscreen.

Meet in the parking lot in front of Luigi’s.
- Oct. 12 – Tallmadge
We’ll sketch the train cars along Freedom Trail and Erie Rd.

- Oct. 19 – Beckwith Orchard AT 10AM
1617 Lake Rockwell Rd, Kent, OH 44240
Beckwith opens at 10am, and they asked that we stay in the parking lot before then. It’s ok to be in the parking lot, just don’t go into the orchard before they’re open. (We could get in the way of workers.)
Also, they are expecting a tour group of 100 people at 10am. We should let them go in first to be sure we aren’t setting up in their path.
