Held along a 2.5 mile stretch of the Towpath between the Mustill Store to the Williams Tower, The Akron Sakura Fest is filled with activities all along the way. Look for events at Mustill Store, Williams Tower, Spaghetti Warehouse, and Locks 2 and 3.
You’ll find food and art vendors (me!) plus lots of activities including an origami workshop, sake and sushi tasting, tea ceremony, crafts, and music.
The festival is free, but some activities require registration so check the Downtown Akron Partnership website for details.
I will be at Lock 3 in Booth 9 between the stage and the Children’s Museum.
